Advance Academia

About

Independent, specialist, senior-led.

A higher-education advisory retained by the institution and accountable only to its interests.

Independence

We have no platform to sell and no panel to staff. We do not own the rankings we advise on. Advance Academia is retained by the institution, paid by the institution, and accountable to its interests alone.

The firm

Advance Academia was founded to give institutional leadership a specialist, independent second opinion — the counsel of people who have sat in the chair, not a generalist consultancy renting a deck.

The firm works across Strategy, Simulation and Recruitment, with a shared analytics layer that makes the evidence reproducible. The work is deliberately low-volume and senior-led.

Advisory Panel

Invitation

We would be glad to hear from you.

The panel grows by introduction. If you lead or advise in higher education, tell us what you work on.

Approach

How we work.

Evidence over assertion

Every recommendation traces to data the institution’s own analysts can interrogate.

A small number of clients

We take on few engagements at a time, senior-led from first conversation to final read-out.

Method in the open

Peer sets, sources and method notes are shared, not withheld behind a chart.

Talk to an adviser, not a sales team.
